The club can confirm that Andrew Osei-Bonsu has been released from his contract which was due to expire next month.
Andrew made 11 appearances for the club since signing in September.
Manager Stevie Crawford commented: “Things haven't worked out as expected for Andy at East Fife. I didn't see him as part of my plans in the longer term and with his contract expiring in January, we felt it was only fair to allow him the opportunity to find another club as soon as possible.”
Everyone at the club would like to wish him all the best in the future and thank him for his efforts.
As Christmas approaches at the end of a difficult year, Levenmouth Foodbank are busier than ever. The Club would like to support this amazing community initiative by facilitating a collection organised is Isla and Andy English at this weekend’s home fixture v Falkirk. We would ask that fans consider making a donation of food (see list below) or cash to allow the foodbank to purchase good they are short of.
Donations can be made from 1.30-3.00pm at the side door of Bayview (behind the club shop). All donations will be greatly appreciated and will help ensure that local people do not go hungry over the festive period.

We are delighted to confirm the appointments of Greig McDonald and Paul Thomson to manager Stevie Crawford’s backroom staff.
Greig McDonald returns to the club as Assistant Manager after enjoying a hugely successful playing stint at Bayview. Joining towards the end of the 2002/03 promotion winning season, he went on to make 189 appearances in the black & gold, scoring 36 goals and picking up a Third Division winners medal with the club in 2007/08. Greig left Bayview in May 2009 for Stirling Albion where he was appointed player-manager in January 2012 and guided the side to promotion to League One via the play-offs in 2014. Greig has most recently been part of the Thistle Weir Academy coaching team at Partick Thistle.
Also joining Stevie’s coaching staff is Paul Thomson as First-Team Coach. Until recently, Paul was full time at Heart of Midlothian as Head of Youth and running the performance school at Balerno High School, having previously held the position of Junior Academy Manager at Tynecastle.
Greig and Paul both met up with the squad at training last night as they prepare for our next match away to Peterhead on Saturday.
Congratulations to our Goldmine Lotto Winner, Christine Norton. Christine is pictured with director Robert Cargill.
