We’re delighted to announce the signing of forward Taylor Steven on a season long loan from St. Johnstone.

The 17-year-old striker has come through the youth ranks at McDiarmid Park and spent the second half of last season on loan at Civil Service Strollers. Taylor featured in two Premier Sports Cup match for the first team this season and scored for the Colt side in the 2-0 victory over Fraserburgh in their SPFL Trust Trophy match on Tuesday.

Manager Stevie Crawford: “Taylor is someone we’ve been keeping an eye on for a few months, and we’re delighted to add him to the squad."

"He’s been involved with the St. Johnstone first team in the early part of the season which shows how highly he his thought of by them."

"He is someone who can score different types of goals and again, like Joao, will offer something different to the squad and give us more attacking options”.

Taylor goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s match against Albion Rovers.
