Glory Days of Gold in conjunction with East Fife FC and East Fife TV are pleased to confirm Evening with Steve Archibald on Thursday 16th December at the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium, with a 7.30pm start.
Steve joined East Fife as player/manager in October 1994, making his playing debut in a 1-0 win away against Meadowbank Thistle on 15th October. When he arrived at Bayview, it was with the aim of getting East Fife promoted to what was then Division One which he achieved during the 1995/96 with second spot in the table. Steve played a total of 56 games and scored eight goals during his 2-year spell at the club, and no one could say he did not make an impact!
Tickets for the event will go on sale from noon tomorrow (11th November) through the usual ticketing site. Tickets are priced at £25/person (inc. VAT & booking fee).
A limited number of Meet & Greet tickets (7pm start) are also available for £35/person (inc. VAT & booking fee). Meet & Greet tickets included a photo with Steve which will be available for signing on the night.
The club were saddened to hear of the passing of life-long supporter Roy Davie at the end of October.
Roy’s first East Fife game was as a 9-year-old in 1953 against Airdrie at old Bayview. He remained a loyal supporter travelling to both home and away games for the rest of his life.
Our thoughts are with Roy’s family and friends at this time.

Queen’s Park have kindly provided the following travel advice for supporters attending this weekend’s match at Firhill Stadium:
The club advise all supporters intending to travel to Firhill to see this Saturday’s game with East Fife to use public transport if possible.
With Glasgow hosting COP 26, planned road closures will mean the M8 and city centre roads will be busier than usual. In addition, scheduled marches and demonstrations may mean road traffic could be subject to disruption and delay.
If you can, leave the car at home and use trains to either Central or Queen Street stations, and then the Glasgow Subway to St George’s Cross.
Fans can then take the 25-minute walk up Maryhill Road to the stadium… with an optional pit stop enroute at a local café/pub if required!
We appreciate the combination of public transport and walking may not be suitable for all, so if you have to take the car the following sites have plenty of useful information: the COP 26 Transport Plan and Road Closures. Please listen out for traffic updates on TV/radio/online and be aware motorways could be closed for spells at any time to allow delegates to travel to the COP 26 venue. Please leave extra time for your journey to Firhill.
To avoid congestion at the stadium, please buy your match tickets in advance. These are only available online here and note, there will be no pay at the gate facility.
If you are unable to attend in person, you can buy your live stream tickets on the queen’s park website here.
We’re pleased to announce that Jude Smith has penned a one-year extension to his current contract, keeping him at Bayview until 2023.
