The club has been made aware of an incident that occurred towards the end of Saturday's game against Airdrieonians when a member of our backroom staff received personal, verbal abuse from an individual in the home end of the ground.
You, the fans, have been magnificent in your support of the club as a whole during what has been a particularly challenging season to date, and we are very grateful for this. However, although this is an isolated case, personal attacks are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
We are currently reviewing CCTV & match footage and are confident we can identify the individual concerned. We will take appropriate action once the review is complete.
We are currently in discussions with our Community Football Club to identify ways we can encourage young fans to attend games and we want to make Bayview Stadium a safe environment for them.
Incidents like Saturday's will not entice parents to bring their children to Bayview. We understand that passions run high at games but please be respectful.

Chairman
Six First Team and Under 20s players are currently out on loan, find out how they’re getting on:
Sean Brown (Spartans)
Sean joined Lowland League side Spartans last month and has scored twice in 3 appearances so far, including a goal on his debut. We hope to see Sean get game time and match fitness between now and January.
Aiden McLaughlin (Whitehill Welfare)
After returning to training with the 1st team and turning out for the under 20s, Aidan has recently joined East of Scotland league team Whitehill Welfare on loan. Aiden completed his first 90 minutes of the season last weekend Saturday and is looking forward to an extended run of games between now and January. After a lengthy lay off it is brilliant to see Aiden back on the pitch
Jack Healy (East Stirlingshire)
Jack is enjoying his loan spell in the Lowland League and is regularly starting games. He has contributed 3 goals and 3 assists so far this season and has experienced playing in 2 Scottish Cup ties. We are happy to see him improve his end product, but also recognise the importance of defending in a first team environment.
Jamie Allan (Linlithgow Rose)
After a mixed spell at Bo’ness United, Jamie has now gone on to join Linlithgow Rose in the East of Scotland League. The feedback from Gordon Herd and his staff has been positive and Jamie has made 8 appearances so far. He has forced his way into the starting line-up and is keeping some experienced players out of the team. We feel the regular minutes in an intense environment will benefit Jamie and accelerate his development.
Cammy Dow (Berwick Rangers)
Cammy is loving his spell at Berwick. Although he had a slight lay off through illness, Cammy has featured regularly in the game she has been available scoring 1 goal and assisting with 2 in his 5 starts and 2 substitute appearances. He has shown his versatility playing as a winger, full back and centre midfielder. Again, the feedback from the coaching staff has been very good.
Kieran Lindsay (St. Andrew’s United)
Having started all 12 games he has been available for, Kieran is benefiting from regular game time on his first loan move. Playing anywhere on the right-hand side of the pitch, he has scored once and assisted 5 times. He has grown in confidence and is enjoying learning the demands of adult football.
Everyone ar the club was saddened to hear of the passing last week of Jimmy Lawson.

Glory Days of Gold in conjunction with East Fife FC and East Fife TV are pleased to confirm Evening with Steve Archibald on Thursday 16th December at the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium, with a 7.30pm start.
Steve joined East Fife as player/manager in October 1994, making his playing debut in a 1-0 win away against Meadowbank Thistle on 15th October. When he arrived at Bayview, it was with the aim of getting East Fife promoted to what was then Division One which he achieved during the 1995/96 with second spot in the table. Steve played a total of 56 games and scored eight goals during his 2-year spell at the club, and no one could say he did not make an impact!
Tickets for the event will go on sale from noon tomorrow (11th November) through the usual ticketing site. Tickets are priced at £25/person (inc. VAT & booking fee).
A limited number of Meet & Greet tickets (7pm start) are also available for £35/person (inc. VAT & booking fee). Meet & Greet tickets included a photo with Steve which will be available for signing on the night.
The club were saddened to hear of the passing of life-long supporter Roy Davie at the end of October.
Roy’s first East Fife game was as a 9-year-old in 1953 against Airdrie at old Bayview. He remained a loyal supporter travelling to both home and away games for the rest of his life.
Our thoughts are with Roy’s family and friends at this time.
