Alan Trouten Agrees Terms
We’re delighted to announce we’ve agreed terms with forward Alan Trouten to join the club on a 1-year deal.
36-year-old Alan made his senior debut for Queen’s Park in September 2005 and was part of Billy Stark’s 2006/07 side that won promotion to Division 2, via the play-offs in 2006/07 with Alan scored the 2nd for Spiders in a 3-0 victory at Bayview in the final. Next up was a move to Clyde in the summer of 2008 before joining Airdrie United the following season then Ayr United for the start of the 2010/11 season. Then followed two spells at Brechin City, with a return to Ayr United in 2015/16 sandwiched in between.
Alan signed for League One side Albion Rovers for the start of the 2017/18 season and almost single-handedly kept the Wee Rovers in the division scoring 28 goals in 39 appearances before moving on to Alloa Athletic in the summer of 2018 where he’s spent the past four seasons taking his career tally to over 500 senior appearance and over 175 goals.
Manager Stevie Crawford commented: “We are delighted to add someone with Alan’s undoubted quality and experience. He is a player I’ve always liked and another strong addition to our squad. I was impressed during the chat I had with Alan and I’m sure the other players in the squad will look to him for guidance both on and off the and I know he’s willing to pass on his knowledge and experience to help others improve."

Office Closure
The club office will be closed from 5pm today until 9am on Tuesday 7th June for the bank holiday weekend.
Season Ticket Sales
Update: The issue with our online payment system for tickets has now been resolved.
We are currently having a problem with the payment system for our online ticket site.
The company is dealing with the issue and will hopefully be sorted shortly.

Kevin Smith Testimonial Match - Tuesday 5th July 2022
The Kevin Smith Testimonial Committee are delighted to confirm that Heart of Midlothian as the opposition for Kevin Smith’s Testimonial match.
The match will take place on Tuesday 5th July at the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium with a 7.30pm kick off.
Admission prices for the game are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Please note, no tickets will be printed for this match and turnstiles will be cash only. East Fife TV will also be providing a live stream and details will be announced nearer the time.

Vacancy - Head Coach East Fife Under 20s
East Fife FC are seeking a Head Coach for the Under 20s side.
This position will be based at Bayview Stadium, Methil and would suit someone based in Fife. This role is voluntary and is with our team that competes in the Lowland Development League.
Must be able to work 3 evenings a week (2 training nights and Friday night games) although there could be some flexibility regarding training.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work and develop as a coach within a professional football environment.
Applicants must as a minimum hold a UEFA C Licence.
Applicants Will:
- Value individual player development over results
- Be willing to work alongside the existing coaching and support staff
- Design and deliver coaching sessions that are in line with the club’s development framework
- Be able to use GPS and analysis software
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
PVG check to be completed before appointment.
Training Kit provided.
