How long have you been an East Fife supporter?
I’ve been an East Fife supporter for over 60 years. My first game was a Scottish League Cup match against Aberdeen in 1956. The Fife won 2-1.
Most memorable moment following East Fife?
My most memorable moment was the game against Aberdeen in the Scottish Communities League Cup in 2011. After extra time the score was 3 each and East Fife went on to win 4-3 on penalties with Fife ‘keeper Mark Ridgers saving 3 penalties!!!
Least favourite moment following East Fife?
Being hammered 9-1 by Dundee in a Scottish Cup tie in season 1965/66.
Favourite player (present)?
Jonathan Page
Favourite player (all-time)?
George Dewar
Best East Fife goal you’ve seen?
I can’t remember the opposition but the goal still sticks in my mind. Andy Waddell took a corner kick and Ian Stewart hit the ball mid-air. I’m sure the Fife had to change the net the following week because of the damage done to it!!
Favourite goal celebration?
Saturday 10th May 2003. East Fife needed to beat Queen’s Park to gain promotion and a last-minute winner from Kenny Deuchar put the Fife faithful into seventh heaven.

East Fife are back on their travels again tonight as they head to Clackmannanshire to take on Alloa Athletic at the Indodrill Stadium. The original meeting was postponed in the wake of the wintry weather that swept the country two weeks ago.
The Wasps currently occupy fourth place in Ladbrokes Division One, well positioned as the run in approaches and play-off spots are up for grabs. Jim Goodwin’s men are also on a decent run of form, defeating Arbroath and Queen’s Park in their last two outings.
Bayview boss Darren Young was delighted with the win against Airdrieonians at Bayview Stadium on Saturday. Kyle Wilkie’s injury time winner demonstrated the fighting spirit that exists in the squad, although the gaffer was the first to admit that his charges have put in better performances this season without reward, albeit in challenging overhead conditions.
Tonight’s encounter is the fourth between the teams in this league campaign with all three previous games resulting in home victories. Greg Hurst scored the only goal of the game back in August at Bayview, while Alloa gained revenge at the Indodrill Stadium eight weeks later with a convincing 4-1 win. The most recent meeting saw the Fifers edge out a 2-1 success thanks to goals from Mark Lamont and Mark Docherty, with Adam Martin on target for the Wasps.
Mark Docherty remains sidelined through injury, with Craig Thomson not too far away from a return to the squad.
