We are delighted to announce the signing of 18-year-old forward Darren Watson on loan from Dundee United until the end of the season.
Local boy Darren started his footballing career at Kennoway before joining the Fife Elite set up at the age of 10 before making the move to Tannadice a couple of years later. Darren made his debut for Dundee United in December 2020 as a second half substitute against Rangers before making his first start against Ayr United in the Premier Sports Cup earlier this season. Darren has featured on 8 occasions for the United first team this season.
Darren goes into the squad for tomorrow’s match against Peterhead.

Under 20s forward Adam Mansouri has joined Lowland League side East Stirlingshire on loan until the end of the season.
19-year-old Adam joined East Fife last summer from Dundee United and has scored 10 goals in 14 appearances for the Under 20s side this season. Adam made his first team debut as a second half substitute against Cove Rangers on Boxing Day.
East Stirlingshire current sit in 8th position in the Lowland league and face Gretna 2008 tomorrow at the Falkirk Stadium.

We welcome Falkirk to the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium this afternoon after the original match was abandoned in the first half due to fog. Falkirk currently sit in 5th position on 25 points after going down 3-2 to Airdrieonians last time out.

Ross Davidson will be out for a few weeks with a broken metatarsal picked up at Dumbarton last weekend.
Kieran Millar will face a fitness test prior to the game however Ross Dunlop and Scott Mercer are back in contention after recovering from injury.
Danny Swanson stepped up his return from injury by featuring in last night’s Under 20s match.
As always, the final squad will be subject to satisfactory Covid tests this morning.

Squad News
Stewart Murdoch, Danny Swanson, Ross Dunlop, Mikey Cunningham and Cammy Dow all continue to miss out through injury today. Bounce games have been arranged over the next couple of weeks to give Swanson and Dunlop game time as they continue their recovery.
On the plus side, Ross Davidson and Kyle Connell return to the squad this week along with new loan-signing from Hearts Leo Watson.
In other news, Sean Brown has been made available for transfer with a number of clubs already expressing an interest.

We’re delighted to announce the signing of 18-year-old left-back Leon Watson on loan from Heart of Midlothian until the end of the season.
Leon, also known as Leo, joined the Tynecastle side from Bonnyrigg Rose at Under 11 level, progressing through the ranks before spending the first half of this season on loan at Stirling Albion in League Two. Leo has been capped for Scotland at Under 19 (2 caps), Under 17 (3 caps) and Under 16 level (3 caps), most recently featuring for the Under 19s in their November double header against Armenia and Croatia.

Dave Marshall’s funeral is to be held at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 21st January 2022 at 12.45pm.
For those who are unable to attend the Crematorium, there will be an opportunity to pay their last respects when the cortège leaves Locality Hub Bayview Stadium at 12.05pm.
We expect this to be busy and it is therefore recommended that those who wish to attend, arrive and park early at the stadium.
