Highlights (and there are a lot) from Friday night's Fans v 2008 Squad game are now available to view on EFtv.
Some great finishing and a lot of laughs to watch
We are pleased to announce that Chris Duggan, Ryan Goodfellow, Ben Reilly and Paul Willis have agreed terms with the Club.
Last night, Friday 19th May, saw the last game to be played on the grass pitch at Bayview when a group of fans took on the Championship winning squad from 2008.
Around 200 fans also watched what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with lots of goals & some very amusing incidents.
The game finished 14-8 in favour of the 2008 squad but it's fair to say the fans team grew into the game & the longer it went on the more it looked as if they had a numerical advantage! The fact that all 26 players were on the park at the same time helped with that illusion too right enough!
Thanks go to everyone that played, attending & generally helped but special thanks go to the volunteers & office staff who ensured that the whole event ran smoothly.
Work on the new 3G pitch starts on Monday & will bet ready in time for the start of next season. We will keep you informed of progress.
