East Fife FC is delighted to confirm that Pat Slattery has signed a one-year contract extension, extending his stay at Bayview into an incredible 11th season.
A fan favourite and true servant to East Fife, Pat made his debut back in July 2015 and has gone on to make 279 appearances, placing him 13th on the club’s all-time appearance list. During that time, he’s chipped in with 4 goals and countless committed performances in black and gold.
The 2024/25 season marked Pat’s testimonial year, a well-earned recognition of his decade of dedication to East Fife. Whether in midfield or defence, Pat’s versatility, experience, and leadership on and off the pitch continue to make him a vital part of the squad.
Everyone at the club is thrilled to see Pat extend his time at Bayview and looks
East Fife FC is pleased to confirm that Robert Jones has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club for the 2025/26 season.
Rob rejoined East Fife in January 2025, having previously featured during the 2017/18 campaign, and has now made 29 appearances across his two spells at Bayview, scoring 2 goals in that time.
A physical presence in attack, Rob provides a different dimension to the forward line and made a valuable contribution in the second half of last season.
Rob will wear the No. 27 shirt for the upcoming campaign.
Everyone at the club is pleased to have Rob on board for another year and looks forward to seeing what he can bring in 2025/26.
East Fife FC is delighted to announce that Liam Newton has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Bayview for the 2025/26 season.
Liam was promoted from the club’s U20s squad in July 2020 and has since become a familiar and reliable presence in the first-team squad, making 151 appearances and scoring 7 goals in black and gold.
The 2024/25 season was a frustrating one for Liam, as he missed large periods through injury, but he showed strong form during the early stages of the campaign and will be looking to build on that as he returns to full fitness.
Everyone at East Fife congratulates Liam on his new deal and looks forward to seeing him back out on the pitch in the season ahead.

East Fife Football Club is pleased to welcome Isla Couser to the Board of Directors as the East Fife Supporters Society representative.
A lifelong supporter, and the third generation of her family to follow the Fife, Isla will be a familiar face to many—whether cheering on the team at Bayview or travelling the length and breadth of the country in support of the black and gold. Her first East Fife game came at just five years old, but it was at seven that her regular attendance began—and, as they say, the rest is history!
A former member of the Young Fifers, Isla is now keen to help create similar opportunities for the next generation of East Fife fans. She’s determined to give young people in the local area a chance to build friendships, make lifelong memories, and feel part of something special.
That commitment was evident in the second half of last season, where Isla played a key role in the success of the Supporters Society’s Schools Initiative. Thanks to her efforts, pupils from several local primary schools were able to enjoy matchday experiences at Bayview—many for the very first time.
In her professional life, Isla is a Deputy Head Teacher at a local primary school. Her role brings with it strong community ties and long-standing working relationships with various groups and organisations. That connection to the community will be a valuable asset as the club continues to build on its ambition of being a true hub for the area.
Speaking on her appointment, Isla said: “I am delighted and honoured to be joining the Board of Directors at East Fife Football Club as we embark on a new era for the club. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Supporters Society for their support, trust and belief in me to fulfil this role and keep our club moving forward.
"My role will allow me to combine my two biggest passions: helping East Fife FC to be at the heart of the community and making a positive difference to the lives of young people in the local area. I look forward to working alongside the other board members as we strive to generate success both on and off the pitch, giving the community a focal point we can all be proud of.”
Chairman Liam Anderson added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Isla to the Board. Her deep-rooted passion for the club, combined with her experience in education makes her a fantastic addition. I have no doubt she’ll make a positive impact as we continue to build a stronger future for East Fife, on and off the pitch.”
Please join us in giving Isla a warm welcome as she begins her journey on the East Fife board.
