Airdrieonians make their first visit of the season to Bayview Stadium tomorrow on the back of a 4-1 victory against Queen's Park last Saturday. Speaking earlier today, manager Gary Naysmith looked ahead to the clash.

"After achieving a good point in last week's draw away to Stranraer, we now play Airdrie in what is the first of 3 games coming up that are going to be extremely challenging for the players and staff. Airdrie are a full time club, who you can see work a lot on patterns of plays and set pieces, and I was really impressed with how they tried to pass the ball in the first game that we played against them, even though I felt we were well worthy of the point we achieved.

It will be another tough game tomorrow, but one that we should be looking forward to in trying to get another positive result, to build on last week's good performance. Mark Lamont is added to last week's squad, however Kevin O'Hara is unavailable due to Scotland commitments."

The sides last met at Bayview in February 2014, when the spoils were shared after a 0-0 draw.

The match kicks off at the usual time of 3pm, and supporters of both sides are welcome to enjoy pre and post match refreshments in the Stadium bars.

East Fife are on the road again tomorrow, making the long journey to face a rejuvenated Stranraer side, who recorded an impressive 5-0 win at Stenhousemuir on Saturday.

Manager Gary Naysmith, speaking earlier today, looked ahead to the clash as his team embark on the second quarter of the league campaign.

"The players have trained really well this week and we are looking forward to the game away to Stranraer this weekend. Their form has picked up in recent weeks and we expect nothing other than a tough game. Mark Lamont and Chris Duggan miss out and Scott Robinson is also very doubtful. Paul McManus returns to the squad after his illness. Kevin O'Hara will join up with the Scotland 19s straight after the game."

The Fifers came out on top in the earlier meeting between the sides this season, with Jamie Insall scoring both goals in a 2-0 win at Bayview. East Fife's last success at Stair Park was back in September 2012 when they recorded a 6-2 victory.
