It's back to league business for East Fife tomorrow when Stranraer are the visitors to Bayview Stadium. Speaking earlier today, manager Barry Smith looked ahead to the clash with the men from Stair Park.

"It's going to be a tough game against Stranraer as they have recently got a new manager in and will be keen to impress."

Smith admitted to being slightly surprised by the visitors' current league position.

"They have a number of experienced players so we will have to be at our best tomorrow, keeping up the good habits, workrate and concentrate on our game."

The Bayview boss also reported that goalkeeper Mark Hurst returns to the squad with no further injury problems other than long term casualties, Tony Wallace and Kyle Wilkie. On the question of further signings he was hopeful of adding to the playing staff before the January window closes.

"I'm still hopeful but it has to be someone of the right quality. There is no point in wasting money on players simply to make up the numbers."

This will be the third meeting between the sides this season with the Fifers winning 2-0 back in September at Bayview and the points being shared in a 1-1 draw at Stair Park the following month.

Supporters of both clubs are welcome to enjoy pre and post match refreshments in the stadium bars.
