We’re delighted to announce the signings of Lewis Anderson, Liam Campbell and Michael Cunningham.
Forward Michael Cunningham started his footballing journey with the East Fife Junior Supporters Club as a 6-year-old, excelling in a side 2-years above his age group, before moving on to Celtic at the age of 10. Mikey moved on to Dundee in the summer of 2018, making his debut in the Betfred Cup in July 2019 before spending the first half of last season on loan at Edinburgh City.
17-year-old goalkeeper Liam joins us from Fife Elite and recently featured as a trialist in our matches against Queen of the South, Dundee North End and Burntisland Shipyard. Liam will be part of the first team squad but is also eligible to play for the Under 20s.
18-year-old midfielder Lewis Anderson came through the youth ranks at Hearts and Dundee United before joining the Fife Elite set-up. Like Liam, Lewis featured in several our pre-season matches and is also eligible to play for the under 20s side this season.
Welcome to Bayview Mikey, Liam and Lewis!
Dear Supporter,
As you may have heard, the Scottish Government is due to give an update on Tuesday (13th July) on changes to COVID restrictions with any changes taking effect from Monday 19th July. This may include an increase in the number of spectators permitted in sports stadia as well as changes to social distancing guidelines outdoors.
As such, we do not yet know how many supporters we will be able to allow into Bayview and therefore we are not yet in a position to start selling tickets for either of our home Premier Sports Cup matches.
As previously advertised, season ticket holders will be given first refusal on tickets for these games. The priority sale window will be announced on the club website and social media only. If you do not have access online, please contact the club after Tuesday either by email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or by telephone on 01333 426323. Leona is working on her own so if you do not get through first time, please keep trying. Your call will be answered eventually.
Tickets will be available online and details will be announced in due course as we are still in the process of installing our new system with Future Ticketing. We ask that if any season ticket holders do not intend to purchase tickets for these two games, they let us know as soon as possible as this will allow us to put these tickets on general sale.
We have been advised that the segregation of players and the necessary red zone will still be in enforced by the JRG, SFA & SPFL, regardless of any changes announced on Tuesday, meaning that our players will continue to change in the upstairs lounge and the away team in the home & away dressing rooms in the tunnel. Therefore, ALL fans will be housed in the two end bays of the stand at each end of the ground, meaning you may not be able to sit in your usual seat. Supporters will be required to use the hand sanitiser provided and wear a mask inside the stadium in line with government guidelines.
Please be aware that the refreshment stalls will not be open for our Premier Sports Cup matches.
Yours in Sport,
Jim Stevenson
Chairman
